One fine day, when my family and I were having our iftar, and mommy made a black jelly beverages plus 'biji selasih' which is known to be good and cooling for your body and whatsnot. So, me not knowing of the name of it, called it 'berudu'. So, here are the conversation between my dad, brother and I.
Me : eesh, I don't like this 'berudu'!
Bro : it is not 'berudu', its called 'kembang semangkuk' la!
Me : *silence* ooh, I see..
Dad : *shacking his head while looking at us* hey, its not 'berudu' nor 'kembang semangkuk' la, it is called 'SELASIH'... Aiyaaa, macam mana la jadi orang melayu..
Bro & I : hahahaha. Ooooh.. Kami bukan melayu la, mana tahu. HAHA
Dad : ish ish ish.. Ni anak campur ni..
HAHA
That made my night, thinking about it makes me laugh like a lunatic. Hahaha. So now that I know its called 'Selasih', I can proudly say, I don't like that Selasih in my drinks..... Eeek.
